Schedule for 2010
Classes/courses are scheduled to maximize your learning curve. In the past I have tried various ways to accomodate the aspiring pilot and have come to the following conclusion.
- A concentrated focus on the learning curve is far superior to the once in awhile approach.
- The concentrated approach produces pilots with a higher degree of skill development and of safety awareness.
- Students like this approach.
To accomodate this we offer two block options
- The solid week - 7-8 days straight depending on weather conditions
- 4 X 4 - Typically a Friday - Monday block followed by three days off and the Friday - Monday block again. This allows the student to either recover aching muscles or to keep the boss happy. Of course it gives you time to reflect on your approach and to absorb all the information too.
This year I have set typical course days from May through September. There is time built into the schedule to allow you to catch up, if necessary, due to bad weather.
Scheduling Tandem Flights is usually a matter of fitting into the schedule. There are lots of free days.
Booking Details
- Classes are limited to 5 students/instructor.
- Please call 902-254-2972 to make sure that the dates you want are actually available. It also gives you a good chance to talk about the process.
- A deposit of 50% of course cost plus hst is required at the time of booking. This is refundable only with three or more weeks notice.
- There is no refund on Tandem bookings
- There is no refund on gift certificates for full courses unless the refund is claimed within two weeks of purchase.
- A signed waiver must be signed by the student and returned with the deposit.

The schedule below is an attempt to organize the summer . It can and probably will change although a number of the course dates are already confirmed . Be very assured that it will not be updated after May 1st. Sorry but there is just no time. Keep in mind that the open dates include time off and time left open for private lesson, the Intermediate course and Tandem Flights
